Prior to FightNight 2010, the Hardline boys revisit the debacle that ensued after Ticket Fight-Night 2009 completed. Corby’s wife nearly left him, and Killer tried to eat a raw steak. If anyone is wondering where Killer’s “Wi-Fi” drop came from, look no further.
I was at the Tom Thumb in Flower Mound one year ago today, watching all this unfold. It was an unbelievable sight. Such a great day.
Finally, I have the answer. I have been wondering where Killer’s drop came from for months.
What the hell happened with Corby? Still not fully explained. Did he go to jail?
Bits and pieces, but I think I’ve heard the following over the past year:
– He got smashed as Fight-Night 2009 night went on (pretty obvious)
– He didn’t end up going home, nor did he go out with Danny or Mike
– Corby’s wife ended up calling Danny and Mike at ~4:00am looking for him
– Corby’s wife ended up calling local hospitals to see if he was there
– At some point, Corby was awake to hear Rich Phillip’s 5:30AM dance-mix ticker (unsure about this one)
– Corby showed up for the show the next day still hung-over
– At the start of e-news, he tried to reply to a Mike question by saying “Yeah”, but a phlegm monster got him and that’s where the drop “Yeah *gurgle* – Oh No” came from.
