After seeing the discussion about the famous Hot Spot prank posted earlier today I decided to dig out some classic audio of the Hot Spot winning an e-brake on 05-10-02. Kevin Blanford and David Robinson Also get into a heated discussion about the Mavs. I just wanted to give you guys a small taste of the Hot Spot if you weren’t around back in the day (I personally enjoyed the Hot Spot quite a bit).
Here is a second e-brake from 04-05-02 featuring the Hot Spot in a lighter atmosphere but still pretty funny. It also features Big Dick Hunter making an appearance.

Thanks for this. I always loved the Hot Spot too, especially as far as evening Ticket programming. Hell, I used to listen to TV Timm (one year as like a 13 year old I entered their fantasy football league and lost to Turley in the championship).
I have a Hot Spot related request that some P1 must have in their audio vault: any “Hey man, what’s up” rodeo entry. Specifically, the David Robinson one where he went to Rivershaun park and talked up a dude for like 30 minutes. I swear I thought he was going to just go off and blow the guy. Big Dick’s was pretty good too, if I remember correctly.
