A little update regarding closing or selling the site.
Ever have a rattle in your car/truck that you just can’t figure out?
Junior did, and this is his story.
Jah & Gordo chime in and it turns into a funny look back at their old cars.
Bad brakes, horn issues … you name it.
What’s your favorite bad car story?
BTW … I emailed Junior on the rattle. I have had one in my Tahoe for a few years now. I realized it only happened in colder weather, but summer time it rarely made noises. I’ve sense realized that this onstar mic that is wired over my head and the wires become loose when the wood, which holds the fabric on the roof, expands and contracts. Only thing I can think of. I know it’s the wires to the mic because I can feel them and if I push on them the rattle stops. I’m constantly punching the roof to move the wires around to make the rattle least annoying.
I think I commented on GK.com already, but my Bug suffers from glovebox squeak. The liner is broken, loose, and flapping around like Madonna’s vageene. The bitch of it is that I have to take 90% of the dash apart just to get to it. (ok, 50%, but who’s counting.)
I could write a book (or at least a few dozen paragraphs) on previous vehicles, and I haven’t had nearly as many as Gordo has had.
