Does anyone remember when the Hardline was good? Today, it’s mostly just Big Dumb Danny and Corby kicking Mike in the crotch.
No, I don’t. I think this is the best it’s been in quite some time. Mike, in the book, hints that during the last few years with Greggo he hated his job and was thinking of hanging up the microphone. Once Greggo was gone, he said it reinvigorated him. I think it shows. The show is better now than it has been in quite some time (probably ever).
Besides, they always are kicking each other in the nuts. All the time. That’s the Hardline.
Also, I thank you for posting this, theunticket (I requested via twitter). This will be an interesting series. I predict he hates every show he watches, if he likes one it’d be South Park. For some reason, I think people have hyped Family Guy too much and he’s bound to hate it.
