This involved the Hardline and The Hot Spot. The Hot Spot was the nighttime show from 2001-2002, hosted by Kevin Blanford and David Robinson “Also.” They had an intern named Johnny “Showtime” Barnes. The prank was basically that the Hardline wanted to take Showtime on as their intern. Robinson wasn’t happy about it and verbally confronted Showtime before they went on the air. The Hardline and Showtime carried it onto the air and kept baiting Robinson. The results are in the audio. Greatness!
this was around 2001 or 2002, I believe shortly after this David Robinson was fired, thanks Grubes1310 for the back story on this as that was many beers ago for me, they really should start another night show and get rid of the top 10, considering everything is podcast now and you can basically get a short version of the top 10 right here on the greatness of TheUnTicket.com

What’s the story behind this audio?
I just tuned in from my rental car. What’s the backstory on this?
Stickman – thanks for including tags with your posts. Would you mind adding descriptions too? I’ve been spoiled by DP’s thoroughness!
I really want to know the context of this.

I don’t know which is the best, “dude you got me in the middle of it” pussy Corby, or 1850’s slave owner Mike ordering them around at the end.
