A little update regarding closing or selling the site.
In honor of Mark Followill’s standing in for Corby today, as well as the posting of Christmas music here earlier, I present the only offering I have from the Ticket Christmas Carolers, from the late 90’s. I really wish I had more, especially the Rhyner one.
Daniel,
As the author of this and the other two years (1997-98) worth of Ticket Christmas Carols, I was able to get Grubes to have Jake Z. send me the other two they still had left in the ENCO: “Expo Wonderland” (to the tune of “Winter Wonderland”) and “I’m From Boyd” (about Greggo, to the tune of “Deck The Halls”). I’d love to share these with you to post on The Un-Ticket, so just let me know which e-mail address I need to send them to, and they’re yours.
Scissor me,
Sideshow Bob
Yea Bob! Nice work.
Thank you, fine sir!
Hey Bob, nice to hear from you. I have a rant that has a bit of you and Gordo talking. You were out of town and wanted to be on hold all show so you could hear it. What a difference a decade+ makes. Now I can accomplish that on my damn phone… Well I could if there was still a rant. So… breakfastinhell@yahoo.com is an addy you could send them to, I’d love it and appreciate it. I didn’t remember you had a hand in these carols, they were great. If only the Rhyner one was out there, we could all hear Jr’s akward “He claims to be, from Shelbyville”. Good times. K bye !
I remember that! I was visiting my parents in Galveston, and was bored out of my mind, because everybody else was already asleep. I figured I’d call The Rant, and since it was on my folks’ long distance, I’d just get The Elder Seaman (Eric Bright, Gordo’s producer) to keep me on hold so I could hear the entire show (this was obviously the pre-streaming era).
I’ll e-mail you the other carols I have, and hope the rest (including the one you have about Rhyner, before he died).
I should have ended that last post, “hope the rest turn up some day.”
