rs courageously took Labor Day off to retrench themselves for their 2010 Marconi push, so Norm filled in. That left the 10-Noon slot wide open, and with Rich Phillips away (trying to eat Peruna the Pony), Norm’s timeslot fell to the only viable radio choice left — Cirque du Sirois.
These boys have an entertaining little post-Church drivetime show, and I was happy to see them get more exposure. The UnTicket was also happy to contribute ever-so-slightly to a song that Cash wrote expressing his admiration for The Ticket:

And finally, I’ve gotta kick Cash in the nuts for his interview with TCU coach Gary Patterson. I can’t figure out if he was genuinely nervous, or if he was doing his best Hammer and/or Sturm impersonation (but at least he didn’t get a piece of fruit stuck in his ass). You be the judge.

1. dug the little parody song he put together, more drops would have made it funnier instead of him singing them.
2. hypotheticals were good. I think I’m stuck on shocking hypotheticals, though. Sportsy ones didn’t hold my attention. I like “would you have sex with shawn bradley to win another championship” type questions. Is this bad?
3. funny compliation of questions AP! HAA… especially starting out, “What, uhhh” .. just was waiting for “you like your gig?” I’d get nervous talking sports with sports people too. but funny to hear.
that is awesome they got that slot. maybe they’ll start filling in more for shows when they go on dry dock. we know they need some better fill ins.

I enjoy Mike Sirois. That guy has something. He might be better in small doses, but he still brings the funny.
This “Cash” guy, however, can’t say I’m a fan. Honestly, he sounds like he belongs on 105.3 The Fan. Just has that phony FM radio shtick feeling about him, reminds me of the clowns on that other barely listenable station across the dial.
