We found this little thread over at the BaltimoreSun.com Forum where they noticed our rants on Nasty Nestor. The tone of several Baltimore residents is they really are put out by the guy too.
Then ‘Billy’ commented on a Nestor post referencing Nasty’s blog where Nasty Nestor is in spin control. What is funny about his post is he references someone from the ticket as being a “Shock Jock”. HA! I don’t believe any guys on The Ticket referenced him as a ‘Jew’ or dropped continuous “F-Bombs” after being approached about a sincere apology. I agree he might have had a reason to be mad a few years ago, but ever since then they have tried to make amends with the douche and he is a complete dick.
The last thing is regarding someone adding comments on our site who says he’s from the Baltimore area. It appears his ratings suck for a reason.
What exactly did Nestor do when he tatttled and apparently ratted out The Ticket to the NFL? Could you elaborate on what exactly it was, and how he did it.
Saying that his station is the lowest rated “sports station” in Baltimore doesn’t do it justice. They are actually the lowest rated “overall station” in the Baltimore market. I think the last Arbitron ratings cycle they posted a 0.4 share. Sometimes the station’s ratings don’t even make it at all onto the ratings list. They posted a 0.0 share in the summer of 2007. To be fair though, the station only operates at about 500 watts during the day so you can barely here it a lot of times in certain parts of town. If you get too far into the city’s suburbs, the signal fades. And oh yeah–they cannot be heard at all once the sun goes down. I think they may actually go dark at night but I’m not 100% sure. It’s so bad that when they do “live shows” at night from a local sports bar with guests from the local pro teams, they have to tape it and then play it the next day. And to top it off, I think one of their morning hosts actually tried to deny that their lack of a night-time signal had anything to do with it.
Marty, our site is more for comedy. We like to have fun. We are big listeners to The Ticket and have heard all situations on the radio with Nestor. Our opinion is that he is nothing but a self centered douche and with his Jew comment, he has some hidden feelings that most of his friends know nothing about.
With regard to what happened exactly, rather than tell the whole story, this guy gives a great play by play of what happened:

whole story = nasty nestor is a douche
Just read it. Exactly what was the “incident” in question, and what exactly did nestor tattle about. I’d be interested to know. Here’s the excerpt I’m referring to:
“Sometime in the late 1990s, at least, he and Ticket host Gordon Keith had an incident. Since, he’s made it a point to tattle on the Ticket to the NFL twice (including this year) and he’s had many incidents since.”
More “enlightened” commentary from the scourge of Baltimore’s media.
