A little update regarding closing or selling the site.
In case you missed, the hotel valet company crashed Rhynes car so bad it wasn’t even in driving condition.
Corby started a letter that was way over the top for Rhynes to send to them and Rhynes took his own turn of said letter and came up with a masterpiece of a letter. Grubes transcribed the entire letter.
Best thing on The Ticket this year. I can’t wait for the reply.
That old man is such greatness!!!
Will be a sad say in Dallas radio when he finally hangs ’em up
This is hilarious.
If you heard this back to the very beginning where they decide
first, to “push it”;
second, where Mike is reluctant to be an a-hole and Corby and everyone else tell him to do it and talk him into it;
third, where Corby sends Mike a draft of a nice little letter asking for a few other things (“push it” – e.g. steak, golf and a flight home and back);
fourth where Mike goes all evil (… very evil) Mike as he thinks about it and writes his own letter, and …
To any drivers between Irving and Lewisville between 5ish and 6ish who saw someone buckeled over in laughter while driving along … that was ME !!!!
I was taking a shower while listening to this. I found myself laughing so hard that I woke up in a puddle of my own urine and concussed because I fell in the shower. This is absolute gold!
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever heard
What a horrible segment. They can kick each other in the nuts but they don’t have to get others involved like this. This is much more than just an innocent prank phone call or funny gag. This could affect the hotel manager’s career. Shit like this should not be taken lightly. Corby’s letter would have been better, albeit still over the line. Otherwise the Hardline is great. (Coming from someone who works in the hospitality industry)
So its ok for Cobby to fuck with somebody but TC cant?
“This could affect the hotel manager’s career. Shit like this should not be taken lightly”
Wrecking a brand-new $60K automobile also falls into that category. The hotel manager should just count his lucky stars that Rhynes didn’t get a lawyer involved or that he didn’t use his radio influence for more than just a funny (albeit ridiculous) letter.
It takes a concerted effort to wreck a Q5 to the point where you can’t drive it anymore. You don’t fix that shit with M&M’s and beef jerky.
I agree with AP here. None of this happens if the car never gets wrecked. And apparently it wasn’t just a fender bender if its taking this long, it’s apparently totaled. It should affect the career of that manager, and the people they hired as well. Actions have consequences, as they are finding out right now.
So, was there ever a response from the hotel?
