If you happened to miss the last time the Musers were on vacation and Norm filled in doing the first ever fake Gordo, then you’re in luck. I just linked to the old one and here’s the new one.
Fake Gordon Keith has resurfaced and this time he not only does his usual plugs, but he then ends the call with a few of the popular characters from the 8:40 segment.
Failed, MEH!
die
Worst bit ever on the ticket. MEH MEH MEH
not even close to funny but I give Norm alot of credit for trying
Genius on the part of Mike Sirois. He must know that Norm’s impression is awful, but that’s what makes it funny.
Hard to listen to. Norm doesn’t seem like he’s trying. I think they were making Gordo out to be some sort of Chris-Chris but the material wasn’t funny and I don’t understand why he kept repeating the first syllable of every word.
Making fun of Gordo shouldn’t be too hard. There are so many ways you can take “fake Gordo.” 1) Chris-Chris him up. Make him out to be ultra vain (carefully groomed beard, anyone?) and ultra important (this guy has a bajillion different jobs, all within the local Dallas medgia) while only doing 3 segments a morning (I’m not questioning the greatness of Gordo; I’m just saying there’s so much you can make fun of). 2) Go off on high school level philosophical tangents. Duh. 3) He clearly doesn’t listen to The Ticket when he’s not on The Ticket so have him question the most basic of Ticket lingo (What’s a P1, etc.) while pretensiously touting the greatness of NPR. 4) He says abrasive things just to draw people off-sides (Are you circumcised?) – have him say just the most SHOCKING of comments every other line and then lay out. Repeat steps 1-4. Segment.
Oh give him a break. He’s like 87. It’s funny because it’s Norm really stepping out of his comfort zone.
And the Fake Gordon does a GREAT Fake Norm!
this is great…deal with it
Is this Norm doing fake Norm? Stupie dumb go away
