History Lesson In Progress
BaD Radio decided to follow up on the Muser’s 17-year KTCK birthday retrospective by digging up some old audio that an unnamed intern found in a box. This edition of BRR spanned two segments and featured such notable guests as day-one hosts George Dunham and Mike Rhyner. It included clips of audio that Mike had long since forgotten, such as callers that wanted to share their all-time sports lineups AND all-star KTCK host lineups, overly-enthusiastic Muser live spots, crazy ticker music beds and ticker hosts, former KTCK hosts (huh?), and odd-sounding promos. This BRR went over so well that it was still in Mike’s sphere of influence a few hours later during afternoon-drive, so I threw that segment in for you free-of-charge.
Also note, P1’s, Mike makes a call for any old archived audio that you might have lying around. If you do have any such audio, we at the little UnTicket would be happy to digitize it, archive it and throw it up here so that it can be shared with all KTCK hosts, P1’s and UnP1’s alike. I’ll be sending my personal collection to the Old Grey Wolf at some point in the future, but it doesn’t go back nearly as far as some of your collections do.
